This Crouch End House comprises a glazed rear extension and an elegant refurbishment of a terraced property, with a design that unites a contemporary interior with historic features.
Our brief was to remodel and extend the property, creating an extension that complemented the existing internal layout, and provided multifunctional spaces that accommodated the client’s passion for entertaining and a beautiful art collection.
We focused on lightness and transparency, with wrap around glazing and generous roof lights. Extra space was created by opening up the rear reception room and extending the dining and kitchen areas to enhance their connection into the garden.
A green marble reveal which matches the island surface becomes a focal feature for the house and complements the brass island cladding.
A unique hexagon tiled floor creates an exciting and vibrant feature through the generous kitchen extension.
